Compact.

The ec-mobile is a mobile screwdriving station designed for use wherever controlled screwdriving technology must be flexibly available. It combines core ec-tec solutions into a compact workstation: screwdriving technology, operator guidance, documentation, torque support, and accessories are all integrated into a single mobile unit.

This allows the ec-mobile to be deployed on short notice when a station fails during assembly, a workstation is being retooled, or an additional fastening station is needed. As a result, assembly interruptions can be avoided and processes remain operational without having to immediately set up a new permanent station.

At the same time, the ec-mobile is not intended solely as a stopgap solution. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, integrable process safety features, and complete documentation of fastening operations, it is also suitable as a permanent fastening station for areas with varying requirements, small production runs, rework, prototyping, or flexible assembly stations.

Screens and ec-hmi

Our software solution is, of course, integrated into the mobile devices and displayed on two screens for the worker.

PC and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

The ec-mobile is equipped with a UPS, so you can switch stations without any problems and without having to shut down the system.

EC-tubes and screwdrivers

ec-tubes reduce the load on the worker and absorb reaction forces.

ec-Socketbox

Our socket boxes can also be integrated, thereby contributing to process reliability through socket monitoring.

We have the answers.

For which applications is the ec-mobile particularly well-suited?

The ec-mobile is particularly useful in areas where flexibility is essential: changing assembly locations, high-variety production, rework, prototyping, service calls, or workstations where the process must come to the component rather than the other way around. It is precisely these factors that are currently driving the market for mobile assembly workstations: high product variety, documented quality, and flexible use in confined spaces.

A mobile solution offers advantages in situations where components are large, difficult to access, or cannot be conveniently moved to a fixed workstation. In addition, there is no need for an external power supply when changing workstations, which further increases flexibility during operation.

The solution includes not only technology and commissioning, but also—upon request—installation, further development, operator training, and maintenance. This is complemented by a service hotline, remote maintenance, and training courses on system operation and optimization.

Yes. The screw and control systems used are designed for integration into existing production environments. This includes compatibility with standard system software as well as capabilities for documentation, diagnostics, and parameterization.

With our ec-hmi, we not only ensure process reliability but also provide complete and traceable documentation of all activities. Our ec-Socketboxes, for example, guarantee additional safety through socket monitoring.

Yes. A good example is the ec-tubes: They balance the weight between the technician and the worker, reduce fatigue, and increase safety. Ergonomics has become a major decision-making factor in the industry because productivity, quality, and employee health are directly linked.

For companies that want more than just a single assembly line. If you’re looking for process reliability, documented quality, ergonomic workstations, flexible integration, and a single point of contact for the entire solution, you’ve come to the right place. That’s why ec-tecs is particularly well-suited for companies with complex assembly processes, increasing quality demands, or the goal of professionalizing their existing processes—either gradually or completely.
